Residence & Citizenship by Investment

A second residence is a decision about the next twenty years, not a purchase.

Independent guidance through residence and citizenship-by-investment programmes: we compare the options against your objectives, then run the file to the decision.

The right programme is the one you can actually live with.

The advice is usually sold by the seller.

Most advice in this market is sold by whoever earns the commission on one programme. The brochure never mentions the tax residency consequences, the physical presence requirements, or how long the passport queue really is.

What lands on your desk.

  • A written comparison of the realistic programmes for your case
  • A clear view of cost, timeline and obligations after approval
  • A due-diligence-ready file
  • Coordination with your tax and legal advisors

How a file is built.

  1. 1

    Clarify

Why you want it: mobility, tax position, family security, a plan B. The answer changes the shortlist.

  2. 2

    Compare

Programmes side by side — cost, timeline, presence rules, succession, exit.

  3. 3

    Prepare

Source of funds, due diligence and documents assembled before filing, not after a rejection.

  4. 4

    File

Submission and follow-through with the agent or government office, to approval.

Worth knowing

We are not tied to a single programme and we do not take placement commissions that we do not disclose. If the honest answer is that none of the programmes fit, we say so.

The decision

Two passports, two very different paths.

A second passport is reached either by investing directly, or by living somewhere long enough to earn it. The programmes differ in cost, in timeline, and in what they ask of you.

Passports from several residence and citizenship-by-investment programmes

Two routes, two very different timelines

Which one fits depends entirely on your goals, your budget and how quickly you need it.

Direct citizenship by investment

  • From a straightforward donation to a real investment with some return
  • Fast — typically three to six months
  • Little or no financial return on the investment
  • Citizenship obtained directly, without a residence stage
  • Special limited programmes exist for HNWI and UHNWI profiles

Citizenship through residence

  • An investment programme that brings foreign capital into the host country
  • Longer — a residence, and sometimes work, permit for five to seven years first
  • Property or investment with potential return
  • Eligibility to apply for citizenship only after the qualifying period
  • Suits long-term planning rather than an urgent need

Considering a second residence?

A first conversation costs nothing and usually removes half the options.
